Everybody needs to chill out and stop putting up divisions! Even subtle or small ones. It’s destructive.

We as a species can’t move forward with big issues because we’re so taken with the small stuff which aren’t even actual problems! It’s something we’ve made up, or it’s a social taboo.

We’re all on the same team here. Let’s act like it! Humans have one home: Earth. Earth is a complex ecosystem upon which we rely to draw even a single breath. We do not exist without planet Earth.

The main point that I want to make is that thinking should shift. Living on planet Earth is a team sport! Do your part. Take care of the world, your neighbours, our environment, our resources. Think creatively! Think wildly! The craziest ideas can be the most impactful!

It was a crazy idea at the time, but Cyrus West Field wanted to lay a telegraph cable across the Atlantic ocean. It became a reality after several failed attempts. But today, we rely on similar cables across many oceans on a daily basis without even realising it. It’s now a relatively trivial thing.

We can do anything when we cooperate, encourage one another, and have basic respect for every living thing on this planet.

We’re team Earth. Let’s do this.
